- A creative workshop
- a cultural project
- a place of social inclusion
- a collective work of art
- an innovative social enterprise
Div.ergo is all of these things together. And more: a place you visit to meet it, not just to read about it.
Il Laboratorio
A documentary about the Div.ergo creative workshop in Lecce. A KALEIDON production, directed by Kristian Gianfreda.
…sum!
Being divergent. Being open to a world where there is room for everyone's dreams. Being part of a change in how disability is seen: that is the meaning behind the name we carry.
Since 2015, Fondazione Div.ergo – ONLUS has promoted the social, cultural and working inclusion of people with disabilities, following the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, so that they can "develop and realize their creative, artistic and intellectual potential" — not only for themselves, but for the whole community.

"We are only human with others."
The Community met the Anawim — young people with disabilities — in 2000: an encounter that continues today and has grown to include others over time. From that companionship came the dream of a life in which happiness is possible for everyone: lived through relationships, work, independence, friendship, service and creativity. Every three years, this dream guides the programme of the Workshop, the Officina and the Bottega.
